Body set up to probe Hoshab incident

QUETTA: Balochistan Home Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove has announced that a committee under his chairmanship has been formed for a probe into the Hoshab incident in which two children were killed a few days ago.

Addressing a press conference here on Sunday night, he said other members of the probe committee would be nominees of opposition parties and additional chief secretary Balochistan.

“The committee would probe the incident with complete impartiality and independently and those found guilty would be brought to justice,” Mr Langove said.

He expressed sympathies with the grieving family and said the government had taken serious notice of the tragic incident.

The home minister said negotiations were held with the family and the government had accepted all their legitimate demands. “However, we will not allow anyone to use the affected family for their personal and political interests.”
