Hurdles in legal trade to be removed

QUETTA: Member of Customs Operations Syed Mohammad Tariq Huda has assured the business community of Balochistan that any hurdle in legal trade and stopping of vehicles carrying customs duty-paid goods without any reason would not be allowed and trade would be encouraged and ensured.

Speaking to members of the Quetta Chambers of Commerce and Industry and business leaders here on Tuesday, Mr Huda said it was the top priority of the federal government to resolve all issues being faced by the business community of Balochistan.

He held out an assurance that stopping of vehicles carrying customs duty-paid goods would not be tolerated any more and a solution to the issue would be found within a week.
