KARACHI: The government will raise Rs75 billion through the auction of 5-year Ijara Sukuk Variable Rental Rate (VRR).

The auction would be held on Sept 30. This auction is for all Islamic banks and commercial banks with Islamic banking branches.

The government will raise another Rs25bn for 5-year Ijara Sukuk Fixed Rental Rate (FRR) on the same date.

All Islamic banks and commercial banks with Islamic banking branches are eligible to take part in it.
