CHAGAI: Senior government officials in Chagai, Nushki, Washuk and Kharan districts of Balochsitan’s Rakhshan division on Thursday held Khuli Kutcheris where they listened to complaints of the people and issued directives for their resolution.

The Khuli Kutcheris were held on instructions of Balochistan Chief Secretary Mathar Niaz Rana.

One of the Khuli Kutcheris was held at the lawn of the Chagai deputy commissioner’s office. Chagai and Washuk deputy commissioners Shafqat Anwar Shahwani and Javed Domki along with officers of provincial and federal public departments talked to tribal elders and other people about problems in their areas. They also received written applications from the people.

A similar Khuli Kutcheris was conducted in the District Council Hall, Nushki, where Deputy Commissioner Ghulam Jan Mengal along with Assistant Commissioner Shoaib Mohammad Hasni and other officers listened to complaints of the people. Another Khuli Kutchery was held in Kharan in which Rakhshan division Commissioner Saeed Ahmed Umrani listened to complaints of the people.

Mr Umrani assured the people that the government would resolve their issues, saying that all basic facilities would be provided to them. They urged the participants to knock the doors of offices of government officials for resolving their issues. Government officials were not to rule, but to serve the public, he added.

A large number of applicants were submitted during the Khuli Kutcheris and on some of them instructions were issued to the departments concerned immediately.

The officers who attended these Khuli Kutcheris were directed by their seniors to ensure better performance while dealing with public matters.
