65 students in 8 Chitral schools test positive for Covid, health dept proposes closure

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa health department has proposed to the deputy commissioner to suspend activities at eight schools in Chitral, in line with Covid-19 standard operating procedures, after students at these educational institutions tested positive for the coronavirus.

According to the district health officer, a total of 65 students have tested positive at the schools, which include four public and as many private educational institutions.
