KARACHI: PSX Stockbrokers Association on Monday elected Hamad Nazir Kehar and Noman Abdul Majeed Adam as president and vice-president, respectively, for the year of 2021-22.

Other office-bearers elected were Muhammad Adil general secretary, Abdus Smad Salim joint secretary, Kazim Sultan Dattoo treasurer and executive committee members Basharat Ullah Khan, Fawad Yusuf, Ghulam Mujtaba Sakarwala, Humayun Javed and Muhammad Zahid Ali Habib.

Glaxo profit jumps 37pc

GlaxoSmithKline Pakistan Ltd posted profit-after-tax of Rs1.70bn and earnings per share at Rs5.35 for the half year ended June 30, 2021, recording growth of 37.2pc from Rs1.24bn and EPS at Rs3.90 the previous year.
