LAHORE: A judicial magistrate on Monday extended physical remand of two suspects for five days in the murder case of Mubashir Khokhar, brother of provincial minister Asad Khokhar.

The personnel of the CIA produced the suspects before the court and stated that further custody was required to recover murder weapon.

The magistrate allowed the request and extended the physical remand of suspects Nazim and Umar Hayat till Aug 21.

The suspects had shot dead Mubashir at the wedding ceremony of Asad’s son.
