As many as 15 people were diagnosed with the Delta variant of Covid-19 in the Rawalpindi district, said Divisional Commissioner Syed Gulzar Hussain Shah on Thursday.

He asked the health authority to take precautionary measures and urged citizens to get themselves vaccinated as soon as possible to avoid further spread of the virus.

“All government employees should submit their vaccination certificate by July 15 otherwise their salaries will be stopped,” he stated at a meeting held to review the Covid-19 situation.
