NUSHKI: Two people were injured when their car hit an improvised explosive device (IED) near the Reko Dam area of Ahmedwal in Nushki district on Wednesday.

According to official sources, the injured — Sher Ahmed and Norman — were shifted to DHQ hospital in Nushki where they were given medical treatment. Two others in the car escaped unhurt, an officer of local administration told Dawn on Thursday.

He said Levies Force was investigating the incident.
