CHARSADDA: PPP leaders oppose graduation condition

CHARSADDA, Jan 23: Khwaja Mohammad Khan Hoti, provincial president of Pakistan People’s Party has said that his party was prepared for any sacrifice for the sake of the wellbeing of the people and democracy in the country.

Speaking at a PPP convention here on Monday he claimed that the PPP was the largest political party and that was why it could unite the masses from Peshawar to Karachi. He said unlike other parties there was no grouping in PPP.

He said recently announced decision of joint electorate and increase in the women seats in the parliament was the agenda of his party.

He said his party would appreciate those measures of the government which aimed at the betterment of the masses. However, he criticized the condition of graduation for candidates of the parliament and said that this would block the way of the general public to the parliament.

Abdullah Jan, Mian Mukarram Shah, Mukhtiar Hashnaghary and other PPP leaders also spoke on the occasion.
