Pakistani citizens travelling abroad for work can now get Pfizer's Covid-19 vaccine as part of new guidelines issued by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), according to a press release from the body.

It said people travelling to a country for employment with a valid work visa where Chinese Covid-19 vaccines were not recognised, such as Saudi Arabia, could be administered the Pfizer vaccine.

However, it added that this would apply only to those who need to begin their travel before July 26.
