KARACHI: Table tennis activities will resume in the city after a layoff when Islamia Club hosts a three-day mixed doubles team event at its Majeed Khan gymnasium from July 3.

Organisers said as many as 24 teams from across the country are expected to compete for honours. According to format, the teams will be divided into eight groups and after completion of league stage, top two will advance into the knockout round.
