Air Sial starts flights on Islamabad-Quetta route

RAWALPINDI: National Assembly Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri on Wednesday said the launch of flights between Quetta and Islamabad by Air Sial will increase the connectivity of Balochistan with other parts of the country.

He said that Gwadar Port and other ongoing projects of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would usher in a new era of development in Balochistan.

He said the launch of the Air Sial airline in the country by the private sector was an expression of confidence in the economic and investment-friendly policies of the government.

He said that the launch of flights by Air Sial to six major cities of the country, especially to Quetta, was a welcome step which would provide better travel facilities to the people of Balochistan.

He expressed these views while addressing the inaugural ceremony of the launch of flights between Islamabad and Quetta by Air Sial Airlines at the Islamabad Airport.

Air Sial will operate three flights a week between Islamabad and Quetta.

The Chief Executive Officer of Sial Airlines thanked the deputy speaker for attending the inaugural ceremony.

He assured the deputy speaker that Air Sial would soon increase the number of flights not only between Islamabad and Quetta but also launch international flights.

He appreciated the investor-friendly policies of the government and assured all possible cooperation for the promotion of investment in the country.
