Man killed over domestic dispute

ISLAMABAD: A man was murdered over a family dispute in Sara-i-Kharbooza locality of the capital on Thursday.

Police said the deceased, Ejaz, had divorced his wife after which her brothers reached his house and hit him with a stick in the head. The injured was shifted to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Station House Officer (SHO) Tarnol Inspector Asjad Mehmood said the aged man had divorced his wife and in response his brother-in-law murdered him.

Meanwhile, robbers, burglars and thieves struck at a dozen places and made off with cash and valuables, police said.

Cash and mobiles worth Rs415,000 were snatched from a man at Loi Bher by four armed persons.In another incident, armed men snatched cash and mobile phones worth Rs100,000 from a shop in the limits of the Ramna police.

Furthermore, burglars stole household items worth Rs125,000 from a house at Koral.

Moreover, thieves took away cash and valuables worth Rs365,0000 from a house at Banigala.

Cash and a mobile worth Rs200,000 were also stolen from a house at Golra.

In another incident, culprits snatched a mobile phone from a woman at F-10 Markaz.

Six vehicles were also stolen from different areas of the capital.
