KARACHI: A huge fire broke out in a godown in Landhi area on Monday evening, according to police and witnesses. They added that the blaze erupted in an old cars’ godown at Labour Square-1.

Sukkan SHO Ghayur claimed that fire tenders arrived after a considerable gap owing to which the blaze spread rapidly. However the officer said three fire tenders were busy in extinguishing the blaze. It was under control and so far, no loss or injury had been reported.

Meanwhile, three persons suffered burns when a fire broke out in a petrol pump in Orangi Town on Monday night, according to officials and rescue services.
