Citizens urged to help implement SOPs

RAWALPINDI: Punjab Law and Cooperatives Minister Mohammad Basharat Raja has asked citizens to cooperate with the police and law enforcement agencies in implementation of SOPs issued by the Punjab government.

During a meeting, he reviewed the situation in the province after the lockdown and implementation of the ban as per government directives to contain the coronavirus.

He said temporary business loss and distress would help in controlling the coronavirus and the Punjab government had taken strict measures in this regard.

He said if people followed the SOP during the Eidul Fitr holidays the coronavirus could be curtailed. He said that the administration in Rawalpindi was working with the police and law enforcement agencies to deal with virus.
