Two FC troops injured in Quetta

QUETTA: Two Frontier Corps personnel were injured when a bomb exploded near their motorcycle in the Sariab Road area on Monday.

According to police, attackers targeted bike-riding FC soldiers when they were patrolling the Sariab Road area during the lockdown. Police said the improvised explosive device was detonated by remote control when the FC personnel were near Tariq Hospital.

“Two soldiers received injuries,” the police said, who rushed to the scene soon after the incident and shifted the injured to civil hospital.

The two were identified as Sepoy Mohyuddin and Sepoy Akhtar. The condition of the FC personnel was stated to be stable.

Balochistan Home and Tribal Affairs Minister Mir Ziaullah Langove condemned the bomb attack.
