SnackVideo and Edhi foundation's fundraising campaign has raised over Rs5 million in 7 days

A week into the fundraising campaign, SnackVideo and Edhi foundation has received a remarkable response from users, raising over Rs5,000,000.

In hopes of giving back to the Pakistan community to celebrate the spirit of Ramazan, SnackVideo, a popular short video platform recently launched in the country, has teamed up with Edhi Foundation, one of the most prominent NGOs in the world, to launch the #EidwithEdhi initiative on April 17 as part of a comprehensive Ramazan campaign.

How does it work?

For every smiling video uploaded on SnackVideo with the hashtag #EidwithEdhi, a donation amounting to Rs10 is handed to the Edhi Foundation for poor families and children.

The campaign was thoughtfully initiated in Ramazan, the month which symbolises generosity, for anyone who is looking to help but cannot donate a large sum of money.

The campaign aligns with the belief that small acts of kindness go a long way, meaning each Rs10 made with a video share can help donate millions, eventually helping the underprivileged.

What's more on SnackVideo?

Apart from the fundraising campaign, users can also explore various other activities on SnackVideo.

For example, Ramazan Live Carnival provides an opportunity to users to create and livestream creative, entertaining content.

In addition, food lovers can share quick recipes, enjoy watching cooking videos and have fun playing games under the hashtag #RamadanRecipes.

The SnackVideo Ramazan campaign will continue to raise funds throughout the holy month of Ramazan.
