KHAIRPUR, Oct 19: Officials of the Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur, have decided to donate one day’s salary in the president’s relief fund for the victims of earthquake.

A meeting of the Khairpur Shah Abdul Latif University Officers Association was held here on Tuesday. Mehdi Shah Rashdi presided over the meeting.

Rafique Shaikh, the general secretary of the association, said that a group of university officers would collect donations from Khairpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Shikarpur and other districts of the upper Sindh.

ARREST: The Thari Mirwah police have yet not arrested the police officials booked in escape of a prisoner, Ali Khan Thebo, from the jail.
