Pakistan's Covid-19 positivity soared to 11.2 per cent as the country recorded another 4,000 daily virus cases for a fourth consecutive day.

The country reported 4,525 coronavirus cases and 41 deaths during the last 24 hours.

Region-wise breakdown of cases and deaths:

• Punjab: 2,309 cases, 17 deaths
• Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 922 cases, 18 deaths
• Islamabad: 856 cases, 2 deaths
• Sindh: 282 cases
• Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 117 cases, 4 deaths
• Balochistan: 28 cases
• Gilgit-Baltistan: 11 cases
