CBC issues

Published

THIS year the Cantonment Board Clifton (CBC) had billed bowser charges Rs36,000 for the period between July 1 and Dec 31, 2020, and between Jan 1 and June 30, 2021. As per the invoice, the CBC charged Rs500 per bowser for six bowsers monthly for a period of six months respectively.

However, coupons for only five bowsers were issued during February. I was hoping that this would be adjusted in March by issuing coupons for seven bowsers, instead of the usual six, but, to my dismay, only six coupons have been issued.

Is it a new mechanism to fleece the DHA residents?
