LAHORE: Another man got injured in a kite-flying related incident in Kot Lakhpat here on Thursday.

A resident of Bhatta Chowk, Zahid was going to meet his relatives on his bike. As he reached the Peco Road, the string of a stray kite got entangled around his neck and left a deep cut.

He was taken to hospital where doctors applied multiple stitches to his neck, a police official said adding that the man was stated to be stable.

During the last 30 days or so, five people, including Zahid, were injured in the kite-flying related incidents in the city, showing the police helpless in controlling the banned activity.
