ISLAMABAD: A three-member ministerial committee formed to probe the video scandal of horse-trading and selling of votes by MPAs in the 2018 Senate polls is expected to hold its first meeting on Saturday (today).

According to federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry, who is a member of the committee, the meeting will set scope of its work, the terms of reference and fix criminal liability on the persons involved in the scam.

Talking to Dawn on Friday, Mr Chaudhry said the committee could seek assistance from the Federal Investigation Agency and police to ascertain the buyers and sellers of votes.
