RAWALPINDI: Police have arrested a man who allegedly raped a woman on the pretext of marrying her and also blackmailed her by making her videos.

A police spokesman said the arrest of the suspect came about after the victim complained to the Waris Khan police that the man had allegedly developed relations with her and promised to marry her.

She alleged that she was raped by the suspect who also made her videos, adding that he refused marry her and started blackmailing.

Police said the suspect had been arrested and a case registered against him after medical examination.
