A trip to Karachi’s otherwise beautiful beach strip becomes a nightmare because of the terrible condition of the Mauripur Road. The residents of the area have their own problems as they are living in extremely unhealthy conditions due to constant dust in the air. On both counts, the government seems least bothered.

Motorists need to have excellent off-road skills to brave through that long stretch of road to reach the beaches. Any other country in the world would have spent billions on developing the road network and adjoining areas to encourage tourism, but not in Pakistan.
