FC chief pays farewell call on Alyani

QUETTA: Inspector General of Frontier Corps North Maj Gen Fayyaz Hussain Shah on Thursday paid a farewell call on Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan Alyani at the Chief Minister Secretariat.

They discussed several issues besides the overall law and order situation.

On the occasion, the chief minister said that as a result of pro-people policies of his government and the sacrifices of the law enforcement agencies, Balochistan was now on the path of peace and development.

Mr Alyani appreciated the services of Gen Shah for maintaining peace and said that the FC had played a key role in maintaining law and order in the province. The role of every FC officer and soldier in this regard was commendable, he added.

During the meeting, tributes were paid to the efforts and sacrifices of the security forces for maintaining peace.

The chief minister presented a model of wooden boat to the FC chief as a gift.

Gen Shah thanked Mr Alyani and said that he would always remember sincerity and love of the people of Balochistan.
