KARACHI: A man was found brutally murdered in the old city area on Wednesday, according to police and rescue services.

They added that male human body pieces were found from a garbage dump at Faqeer Mohammed Dura Khan Road, Lyari near Dhobi Ghat. Kalakot SHO Asif Munawwar said the head and trunk of the body were missing. The officer said whatever parts of the body were recovered were also cut into several pieces. They were shifted to Dr Ruth Pfau Civil Hospital to fulfil legal formalities. DNA samples would be taken for identification purpose.

Man shot dead

A 32-year-old man was shot dead in Sukkan area on Wednesday evening, according to police. They added that Fazal Nabi was gunned down in Bakhtawar Goth. The police attributed personal enmity as probable motive for the murder. The body was shifted to the JPMC.
