Second appeal
THIS is in continuation of my letter seeking the intervention of the army chief (May 3). I had received a prompt response from the relevant quarters and was called for a patient hearing.
Shortly afterwards, I was paid a very small amount through a cheque with due acknowledgement, which was a recognition of my principled stance and my long-term association with Pakistan Army.
Later, some investigating agencies contacted me to probe the matter further on the direction of their high-ups, and were provided with all the required data, evidences and credentials on the subject of my grievances with regard to DHA Peshawar and DHA Bahawalpur Town Planning. I have yet to receive any concrete outcome even after four months. I and my family are suffering for the last four years.
As a last resort, I once again seek the direct intervention of the army chief in the matter.
As the son of a soldier who has been well-groomed by Pakistan Army, I consider the army chief my last ray of hope.
