ISLAMABAD: The Establishment Division on Tuesday posted Principal Information Officer (PIO) Shahera Shahid as additional secretary information and broadcasting division.

She will continue holding the post of PIO Press Information Department (PID) as an additional charge.

Ms Shahid was appointed as the second female PIO in January this year after Ms Rizwan Khan who served on the post in April 2008.

An officer of the information group, Ms Shahid earlier served as the director general Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications, head of the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation and press secretary to the prime minister.
