3 killed, 2 injured in roof collapse incidents

TAXILA: Three people, including two minors, died while two others were injured in separate incidents in Attock.

A woman and her two children died when the roof of their mud house collapsed in Kot Dadu village in Hassanabdal.

According to police, 22-year-old Saba Bibi along with her two-year-old daughter Iqra and six-month-old son Mohammad Hasnain were sleeping when the roof of their home caved in.

The woman’s husband, Mohammad Niaz, was not present when the incident happened.

In the second incident, two people were injured critically when the roof of their home crumbled in Khangwani village in the jurisdiction of Hazro police.

The injured were identified as Abdul Rasheed and his brother Abdul Rehman. They were shifted to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital.

Meanwhile, a man was shot dead over an old enmity in Asifabad, Wah Saddar.

Police said Eid Mohammad was living in the area after fleeing his native town as he had been facing hostility from his rivals.

On Sunday, as he came out from his house, his two rivals shot him dead.

Wah Saddar police conducted the autopsy and registered a case against the attackers.
