THE opposition has every right to disagree with the policies of the government. It also has a right to hold rallies and point out flaws in governance. But it surely has no right to drag state institutions into the political arena. Some irresponsible politicians have done just that in recent days. These misled politicians should not be allowed to make such remarks.

The country is at war with India across the line of control and against terrorists in the tribal areas. We routinely hear about the martyrdom of our officers and soldiers in those regions. As a grateful nation, we must remember such sacrifices.
