Islamabad's test-positivity rate rises to 7.7pc
The Covid-19 test-positivity rate has risen to 7.7pc in Islamabad, while two more educational institutions in the capital have been sealed.
Officials from the capital administration said the number of active cases has been increasing gradually for the last few weeks, as the number of new cases reported daily outnumbers recoveries.
A government college in F-7/4 was sealed after six students and members of staff tested positive. This college was sealed for a second time in just three weeks, they said.
A government school in G-8/1 was also sealed after two people tested positive.
