Two die as car plunges into Buner ravine

BUNER: Two people were killed and as many injured when a car they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a ravine in Chaghorzai area of Buner district here on Tuesday.

The victims were identified as Zewar Shah of Batkhela, Malakand, and Ibrahim Shah of Skhakot, Malakand. The injured were identified as Said Ahmed and Mohammad Said, both hailing from Chaghorzai. They are students of Batara higher secondary school.

Locals said the car driver lost control over the steering at a sharp turn and, as a result, the vehicle plunged into a deep ravine. The bodies and the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Daggar, police and rescue officials said.
