ISLAMABAD: The United Nations family in Pakistan has strongly condemned the attack on students at a madressah in Peshawar, and expressed profound condolences and sympathy with the families of those who lost their lives or were injured in the attack.

Separately, Unicef, the specialised agency of the UN for childern’s welfare, strongly condemned the attack on the religious school in Peshawar.
