RAWALPINDI: An official from the Dolphin Force was suspended and served with a charge sheet by the city police officer on Wednesday. He was caught by the Sihala Police for his alleged involvement in robberies. After interrogation, the police also arrested his accomplice and launched an investigation.

Police recovered five motorcycles snatched during robberies, five mobile phones, a laptop and illegal weapons from his possession and both suspects were shifted to Adiala Jail for identification.

Soon after his arrest, he was suspended by the CPO and served with a charge sheet, a police spokesman said.

Initial police investigation suggests that the suspect had been involved in a number of robberies and had been absent from duty since the last two weeks.
