Capacity building session held with young MPAs

KARACHI: The Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (Pildat) held a strategic planning and capacity building session with young MPAs of Sindh, says a press release.

A multiparty group of Sindh MPAs joined the proceedings in person and online via Zoom.

In a detailed discussion, MPAs appreciated holding of the forum and the sharing of useful and timely information and analysis in a number of relevant areas. They said that as young MPAs they are ready and willing to play their role in leading policies, oversight and legislation on issues faced by the youth in Sindh.

MPAs who joined the forum in person in Karachi included Sadia Javed (PPP), Arsalan Taj (PTI), Sarwat Fatima (TLP) and Munawwar Ali Wassan (PPP). Those MPAs who joined online via Zoom included Bilal Ghaffar (PTI), Saeed Afridi (PTI) and Rabistan Khan (PTI).

The forum was organized by Pildat under the UNDP-supported project Build Leadership Capacity and Mainstream Young Men and Women in Policy Processes Leading to Inclusive and Pro-Youth Legislation.
