OKARA: An eight-year-old boy was raped allegedly by his relative at Roshanabad locality near Chak 13/4-L on Saturday.

According to the first information report (FIR) registered with the Cantt police, the child’s mother went to her parents’ house to meet some guests and left her eight-year-boy at home.

In her absence, a relative from the same village came to her absence on some pretext and raped her minor son. The police registered a case and arrested the suspect.

KILLED: A teenage girl was shot dead at Chak 32/4-L over a trifle. The FIR said the complainant Jamal Din had exchanged harsh words with Abdur Rehman over the rainwater issue some days back.

On Saturday, Jamal’s 13-year-old daughter, Saira Bibi, went to the house of Rehman for some work where he shot her dead over the grudge he had for her father. The Shahbore police registered a case.
