Two killed for honour in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: A man and a woman were shot dead in the name of honour in the jurisdiction of Tangi police station here on Tuesday.

Police said the alleged killer along with accomplices opened fire on his sister-in-law and another man after seeing them together. They died on the spot.

The Tangi police lodged FIR against the accused persons and started further investigations.

Meanwhile, one person was killed and two others, including a passer-by, were injured when close relatives traded fire over a property dispute in Matta Mughulkhel area on Tuesday.

The police named the victim as Khalid Khan.

Syed Khan, brother of the deceased, got registered an FIR with the Shabqaddar police station against Hazrat Ali Shah and injured, Gohar Shah, while injured Gohar named Mian Asad in the cross FIR.

The police arrested Gohar and Asad.

The injured passer-by was named Humayun Khan, 60.
