NORTH WAZIRISTAN: One soldier was martyred and three others were wounded in an attack on an army patrolling party near Mirali in North Waziristan tribal district on Saturday, officials confirmed.

They said the convoy came under attack at Hassokhel Gulshen Adda near Mirali. The injured troops were evacuated by a helicopter.

Names of the soldiers could not be ascertained immediately.
