Govt has failed on every front: MNA

SWAT/BUNER: MNA Mohsin Dawar has said that the PTI government was not elected by the votes of people but it was selected so it did not bother to address the issues of people.

He said that the government failed at every front and country was at the verge of collapse due to incompetency of prime minister and his cabinet members.

He was talking to local journalists in Swat Press Club on Monday during his visit to the flood-affected areas of the district.

The lawmaker said that the accountability process was also based on favouritism and only selective activism and selective accountability was underway in the country.

He said that government should take practical steps to help the flood affected people in Malakand division.

Mr Dawar said that the people of Swat suffered unprecedented losses due to militancy, which also paralysed every sector in the country, and it was the collective responsibility of the communities to be vigilant against the militants.

Talking to mediapersons in Buner on Tuesday, he claimed that the leaders of Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement were raising voice against atrocities being committed against Pakhtuns.

He dispelled the misconception of being working against state institutions. He also addressed district bar association in Daggar.

Mr Dawar said that PTM would be strengthened to provide a platform to leaders and workers for fighting for the Pakhtun rights and raising voice against use of force against Pakhtun leadership.

He said that some so-called nationalist parties were claiming to be champions of Pakhtun rights but they were under the control of establishment. He added that they were unable to fight for rights of Pakhtuns like PTM.

Mr Dawar said PTM leadership would continue to raise voice against use of force and usurpation of rights of Pakhtun in the parliament and in the street as well.

He alleged that people were being killed, youth were made missing, houses were being damaged and business were ruined in the tribal districts. He said that PTM would raise voice against such atrocities.
