PTI INFIGHTING: The ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s Mansehra chapter has failed to form its cabinets in five tehsils of the district due to internal differences.

The PTI had dissolved its divisional, district and tehsil cabinets early last year across Hazara division but nominations for new bodies suffered a long delay at district and tehsil levels.

According to party leaders, nominations by the PTI Mansehra district cabinet for the divisional cabinet was an uphill task due to differences between federal minister Azam Khan Swati and local MPA Babar Saleem Swati. However, the issue was settled after taking men of two on president and general secretary slots respectively.

The tussle between two PTI lawmakers is a hurdle to the formation of the new party cabinets in Mansehra, Balakot, Oghi, Darband and Baffa-Pakhal tehsils causing unrest among the party’s activists.
