KARACHI: A 44-year-old man was shot dead by suspected robbers over resistance in Quaidabad area on Monday night, according to rescue services. They added that armed men tried to loot Jamrod Khan near Radio Pakistan ground. As he put up resistance, the robbers opened fire on him and fled.

He suffered critical bullet wounds and was transported to the JPMC where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
