USC chairman hints at resignation
ISLAMABAD: Utility Stores Corporation (USC) chairman Zulqarnain Ali Khan on Saturday expressed dismay over the policy-making process in the state-owned retail company and hinted at quitting office.
Mr Khan, who came from the private sector, said he was facing
difficulties at the hands of the bureaucracy in the ministry of industries and production regarding decision-making at the USC.
Mr Khan, while talking to the media, said that he had sought a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan. He expressed the hope that the meeting would take place on Monday or Tuesday, adding that he would apprise the premier about issues in the USC and tender his resignation.
