KARACHI: The coronavirus claimed nine more lives overnight lifting the death toll to 2,259 and infecting 487 others raising the tally to 123,246.

This was stated by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in a statement issued here from CM House on Friday.

Mr Shah said that out of 487 new cases, 221 were detected from Karachi.
