KP & prescriptions
I HAVE spent four years in Sindh. Whenever I fell ill and would go to see a doctor for treatment, he would not prescribe the whole tablet, but just a few medicines, cutting two or three tablets into half, which would cost very little.
On the contrast, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, doctors always prescribe the whole tablet to the patient even though the patient could get well by taking tablets in smaller number and quantity. Tablets which are left are wasted. The doctors and pharmacy owners sell whole tablets to the patient to get more money.
The government should take action against such doctors, pharmacy mafia in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
