Govt providing facilities to buyers in cattle markets: minister
TAXILA: Provincial Minister for Livestock Sardar Hasnain Bahadar Dreshak on Sunday said facilities are being provided to people for the first time and no tax had been imposed on the purchase of sacrificial animals.
He expressed these views during his visit to the cattle markets in Hassanabdal and Attock and reviewed the facilities being extended to buyers. Deputy Commissioner Attock Ali Anan Qamar, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ch Abdul Majid, Director (livestock) Rawalpindi Dr Nadeem Badar, Additional Director Dr Asim Rafique, PTI Focal Person Syed Khawar Abbas Bukhari, PA to Chairman Public Accounts Committee Imran Bukhari, PTI Coordinator Bilal Sheikh, Malik Hammad, Nadeem Firoz and others were also present.
“The provincial government is providing all possible facilities to people in cattle markets. Cattle markets have been established across the province outside city limits, this year to contain the spread of coronavirus during Eidul Azha. People should take all precautionary measures while visiting these markets to avoid further spread of the virus,” he added, appreciating the district government’s efforts.
