Skeleton found, three suspects held

GWADAR: Police have arrested three suspects after the skeleton of a missing boy was found in the Srekoran Surdo area of Panjgur district.

Police recovered the skeleton of the 10-year-old from a house on Friday. The boy had gone missing a month ago and police had registered a kidnapping case against unidentified culprits on the complaint of his parents. District Police Officer of Panjgur Hanif Baloch said here on Saturday that police had conducted raids in different areas and succeeded to find out the skeleton of the missing boy from a house on the outskirts of Panjgur on Thursday.

The skeleton was shifted to the District Hospital Panjgur.

“We have arrested the owner of the house along with two other persons and further investigation is in progress,” the DPO said, hoping that soon the mystery of the disappearance of the boy and his murder would be resolved. The DPO said: “We have no facility here in Panjgur to identify the boy. We will send the samples of the bones to Karachi or Lahore for DNA test.”

However, he said, the mother of the missing boy believed the skeleton was that of her son as the boy’s cloths and some other items belonging to him had been found in the abandoned house.
