PESHAWAR: Senior lawyer and Peoples Lawyers Forum provincial general secretary Mohammad Jamil Qammar passed away here on Wednesday.

He was hospitalised over a month ago as he didn’t feel well and tested positive for Covid-19.

His funeral was held in Faqirabad area, where lawyers, friends and family members were in attendance.

Mrs Qammar was later laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard here.

He was the father of Mohammad Hammad and Mohammad Ahad and the brother of Mohammad Hafeez Qammar.
