[Meanwhile, as reported by another agency in Rawalpindi,] The planned series of talks by heads of political parties from all stations of Radio Pakistan and Television is expected to begin in the third week of July, it was learnt.

Originally it was planned to start the programme from the first of July. The delay is attributed to heavy electioneering engagements of political leaders of whom only about seven had so far sent the scripts of their speeches to the Radio and TV authorities.

Mian Mumtaz Daultana, the CML chief, is the first to record his speech for the series for Television. Meanwhile, it is learnt that the Tehrik-e-Istiqlal chief, Air Marshal (Retd) Asghar Khan, has been officially invited to take part in the programme.
