LAHORE: The Punjab cabinet on Thursday approved the ‘interim’ wheat policy 2020-21 for release of wheat to flour mills and asserted that the 20-kg flour bag be made available at Rs850 instead of Rs1,050 in the market.

The cabinet’s 32nd meeting chaired by Chief Minister Usman Buzdar at his office decided to provide wheat to flour mills at the rate of Rs1,475 per 40 kg and allowed ‘interim’ wheat policy to continue for two more months.
